Collected information is kept secure at all times, and Cicero Group’ employees are prohibited from disclosing any information collected.
Participation in our research is voluntary and participants always have the opportunity to decline involvement or to “opt out” of the research after agreeing to participate.
Information That Is Collected When You Visit This Site
We collect no personally identifiable information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide that information to us. Please see “Information You Provide Voluntarily” below.
For the protection of users of our website, we have safeguards in place to identify and prevent unauthorized attempts to access or cause harm to information and systems. Our web server automatically collects the default information logged by most servers. This information includes the Internet protocol (IP) address from which you access our website, the type of browser and operating system you are using, the date and time you visit, the pages and files you request, and the last site you visited (if that site contained a link to a CICERO GROUP webpage). We use this information to determine the level of traffic through the server and the level of interest in the individual files available on the server. None of this information identifies you personally, and we do not give, sell, or transfer any of this information to a third party. The logs may be preserved indefinitely, and they may be used to prevent security breaches and to ensure the integrity of the data on our servers.
Purchasers of CICERO GROUP Products or Services
Any information that we collect for the purpose of purchasing products or services will be handled in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act and the Freedom of Information Act (see “Your Rights” below for more detail on these acts). Cicero Group and the CICERO GROUP collect customer information (name, address, phone number, and e-mail address) to facilitate business transactions. Any information that would permit identification of individual customers is used only for this purpose and not shared with other organizations unless express permission is obtained.
Information You Provide Voluntarily
If you give us information about yourself in an e-mail or otherwise, any information you provide is used only to help us prepare a response, prepare a proposal, or evaluate a possible business relationship. As we do so, the information you provided may be viewed by various people within CICERO. The information you provide is protected in accordance with law (e.g., the Privacy Act and the Freedom of Information Act). Submitting voluntary information constitutes your consent to the use of the information for the stated purpose.
The CICERO GROUP e-mail system is password-protected. Only authorized users have access to our e-mail system.
Use of Participant Lists
The personal information that we solicit on our surveys will only be used to contact you for survey research—to collect your opinions about issues, services, products, etc. Lists are NEVER shared with a third party for any reason.
We may contact you by the methods you specify (i.e. telephone, mail, email, etc.] when your demographic information matches those required for a particular study. You may be asked to participate in focus groups, previews, panels, or other survey research. You are under no obligation to participate. We never try to sell you anything, EVER.

Your participation in a legitimate public opinion research survey is very important to us, and we value the information you provide. Therefore, our relationship will be one of respect and consideration, based on the following practices:
- Your privacy and the privacy of your answers will be respected and maintained.
- Your name, address, phone number, e-mail, personal information, or individual responses will not be disclosed to anyone outside the research project without your permission.
- You will always be informed in advance if an interview is to be audio recorded or video recorded (as in the case of telephone or in-person studies). Additionally, you will be told of the intended use of the recording.
- The researcher will be identified to you. You will be told the name of the research organization and the general nature of the survey.
You will not be sold anything, or asked for money, under the guise of research.
- You will be contacted at reasonable times, but if the time is inconvenient, you may ask to be re-contacted at a more convenient time.
- Your decision to participate in a study, answer specific questions, be re-contacted at another time, or discontinue your participation will be respected.
- You are assured that the highest standards of professional conduct will be upheld in the collection and reporting of information you provide.
Information for Business Partners
If you represent a CICERO Business Partner, you may visit a CICERO Website intended specifically for our Business Partners. We may use information you provide on that site to administer and develop our business relationship with you, the Business Partner you represent, and CICERO Business Partners generally. For instance, we may use your information to send you details of our Business Partner programs. We may share certain information with other Business Partners (subject to any confidentiality obligations that may exist), or CICERO customers or prospects. In connection with a particular transaction or program, we also may contact you as part of a satisfaction survey or for market research purposes.
Your opinion is very important to Cicero Group. Interviewing you is a privilege. However, we recognize your right to decline to participate and will honor your decision to opt out of further research.
