SALT LAKE CITY—August 7, 2017. Cicero Group, a leading management consulting firm, has named senior business leader and former Maxam CFO Rocio Summers to its council of senior advisors. Rocio Summers currently holds a position as founder and principal of RS International Business Consulting, a strategy and financial consulting group focused on international corporations and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to the founding of the company, Rocio held various positions at Maxam North America, including Chief Financial Officer from 2006 to 2016.
In addition to her appointment as a Cicero senior advisor, Rocio serves on the board for numerous non-profit organizations including SelectHealth, Girls on the Run, Utah Women’s Forum, and Pilar Pobil’s Legacy Foundation. Her board positions primarily focus on her audit, compliance, and finance experience, as well as her knowledge of international development in Europe, North America, and Latin America.
Rocio holds a Master’s Degree in Finance Direction and Control from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, as well as a Bachelor’s in Economics and Business Administration at the Loyola University of Andalucía in Córdoba. She has completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Spain.
As a Senior Advisor at Cicero, Rocio will participate with Cicero’s leadership to provide expertise and guidance to the company and its clients, and contribute to the company’s vast network of business executives. She will also be involved with Cicero Social Impact, the company’s non-profit consulting arm, and Cicero Higher Education, the company’s higher education services arm.
