For this company, Cicero Implemented multiple online surveys. The first of which consisted of 200 Oncology and Hematology specialists, to determine their choice of prescription drugs for 1st and 2nd line chemotherapy patients. Participating doctors were asked to rank their choice of eight different chemotherapeutic agents used as stand-alone drugs or combinations of the eight drugs in treating cancer patients. The doctors were segmented into five different cooperative groups. Prescribing tendencies by physicians and doctor segments were analyzed.
Next, Cicero conducted an online survey with 100 respondents for Nurses and Physician Assistants. The purpose of this survey was to establish what drugs were typically used in certain treatments and who is responsible for specific drug recommendation. Cicero then conducted an online survey of 100 respondents for Oncology practice Office Managers.
The purpose of this research was to gain information about the “typical” Oncology practice. For example, how many and what type of oncology patient(s) does the average practice treat over a specific time? Lastly, Cicero conducted an online survey of 300 Oncology Doctors regarding their perception of prescription drug safety. Doctors were surveyed to ascertain when they felt comfortable prescribing certain drugs and under what circumstances they would not.
