About Cam

Cam Skinner is an Principal at Cicero Group, where he advises private equity firms, investment banks, and portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle. His work spans buy-side and sell-side engagements, including commercial due diligence, vendor due diligence, and sell-side market studies, as well as post-close value creation and portfolio strategy initiatives. Cam partners closely with sponsors, bankers, and management teams to develop evidence-backed equity stories that support investment decisions, valuation, and exit positioning.
Cam has led engagements across healthcare services, tech-enabled services, business services, and select consumer and industrial sectors. His healthcare experience includes home health and post-acute care, healthcare staffing, telehealth (including behavioral health/telepsychiatry platforms), urgent/emergency care, specialty care services, and revenue cycle management and payer-facing platforms. Outside of healthcare, he has advised on residential and commercial products and services (e.g., fire and life safety, security/access control, MEP services, flooring products, concrete/asphalt, sports surfacing products), transportation and logistics, real estate services, and power generation equipment and services, frequently in the context of platform investments, roll-up strategies, and value creation planning.
Cam leads multidisciplinary teams across core commercial diligence and transaction-related workstreams, including market sizing and forecasting, sector and end-market dynamics analysis, and voice of the customer research (qual and quant). He oversees workstreams covering competitive positioning, unit economics, regulatory and policy environments, and risk identification with associated mitigation considerations, and supports growth strategy development across geographic expansion, service line and solution portfolio growth, pricing and commercialization levers, and bolt-on acquisition targeting.
Prior to joining Cicero Group, Cam was an Associate at Leavitt Partners, where he supported strategy and transaction-related engagements for financial sponsors and corporate clients across the healthcare sector.
Cam holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Utah State University and an MBA from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
