Public Opinion Polling
Targeted, accurate polling is essential to succeeding in the arena of public opinion. Cicero has years of experience designing national and locally-targeted opinion polls, and we gather quantitative and qualitative data through a variety of methods.
We utilize various resources to accumulate research data including internet surveys and landline and cellphone testing. We are able to target specific populations and geographies in multiple languages to suit our clients’ need. Once we receive the gathered information we analyze the data to give our client accurate insights into the current public opinion climate.
Our full range of data gathering methodologies include both qualitative and quantitative approaches, including surveys, intercepts, focus groups, and in-depth interviews, as well as new technology-enabled approaches such as web-based and social media interactions.
Benchmarking and Tracking
We provide comprehensive quantitative studies to benchmark opinions and track changes in perception over time to inform marketing or messaging campaign strategies. We provide our clients accurate longitudinal data to help them determine the effectiveness of ad spend or specific messages or approaches. We also provide value-added analytical services via conjoint and other methodologies that detail what ideas or messaging generates the most significant positive lift.
Cicero performs tracking polls to measure trends week-by-week or month-by-month. We analyze the attitudinal and behavioral changes in a target population for political or public interest campaigns, as well as for consumer sentiment and ad tracking. Tracking data can be targeted and segregated after policy addresses, gaffes, or ad campaigns to determine consumer behavior.
Message testing allows our clients to understand voter and consumer attitudes toward a specific message. We provide A/B and other testing to aid our clients in developing the right message. Message testing can be done through a combination of qualitative and quantitative means, including via methods that allow for rapid response to meet client timelines and objectives.
