Information That Is Collected When You Visit This Site

We collect no personally identifiable information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide that information to us. Please see "Information You Provide Voluntarily" below.

For the protection of users of our website, we have safeguards in place to identify and prevent unauthorized attempts to access or cause harm to information and systems. Our web server automatically collects the default information logged by most servers. This information includes the Internet protocol (IP) address from which you access our website, the type of browser and operating system you are using, the date and time you visit, the pages and files you request, and the last site you visited (if that site contained a link to a CICERO GROUP webpage). We use this information to determine the level of traffic through the server and the level of interest in the individual files available on the server. None of this information identifies you personally, and we do not give, sell, or transfer any of this information to a third party. The logs may be preserved indefinitely, and they may be used to prevent security breaches and to ensure the integrity of the data on our servers.

Purchasers of CICERO GROUP Products or Services

Any information that we collect for the purpose of purchasing products or services will be handled in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act and the Freedom of Information Act (see "Your Rights" below for more detail on these acts). The CICERO GROUP collects customer information (name, address, phone number, and e-mail address) to facilitate business transactions. Any information that would permit identification of individual customers is used only for this purpose and not shared with other organizations unless express permission is obtained.

Information You Provide Voluntarily

If you give us information about yourself in an e-mail or otherwise, any information you provide is used only to help us prepare a response, prepare a proposal, or evaluate a possible business relationship. As we do so, the information you provided may be viewed by various people within CICERO. The information you provide is protected in accordance with law (e.g., the Privacy Act and the Freedom of Information Act). Submitting voluntary information constitutes your consent to the use of the information for the stated purpose.

The CICERO GROUP e-mail system is password-protected. Only authorized users have access to the CICERO GROUP e-mail system.

Survey & Marketing Use

The information you provide to CICERO may also be used, with your permission, by CICERO and selected third parties for survey and marketing purposes. Before we use it, however, we will offer you the opportunity to choose whether to have your information available for this purpose.

Information for Business Partners

If you represent a CICERO Business Partner, you may visit a CICERO Website intended specifically for CICERO Business Partners. We may use information you provide on that site to administer and develop our business relationship with you, the Business Partner you represent, and CICERO Business Partners generally. For instance, we may use your information to send you details of CICERO Business Partner programs. We may share certain information with other Business Partners (subject to any confidentiality obligations that may exist), or CICERO customers or prospects. In connection with a particular transaction or program, we also may contact you as part of a satisfaction survey or for market research purposes.
