The recently published results of a randomized Dan Jones & Associates poll of over 1,200 Utah residents demonstrate in very clear terms the importance of college education in Utah.
A college degree or certificate significantly increases income, employment stability, and the likelihood for promotions and valuable health and retirement benefits. It enhances the likelihood of an individual's satisfaction with his/her employment, marriage, and other relationships. And those that complete a college degree or certificate are more likely to vote and to volunteer in their community and are significantly less likely to utilize government assistance programs.
